I am a Salvation Army officer, currently teaching at the Salvation Army Officers’ Training College and MF Norwegian School of Theology. Originally from England, I came to Norway to study Linguistics, came back to work for the Salvation Army, and stayed after I met my wife in Bergen. I’ve been here nearly 25 years, so excuse my rusty English! Apart from teaching and church and community work around Eastern Norway, I also worked for some years in the Army’s Social Services administration. I write about whatever interests me – whether it’s social welfare, theology and religion, history or whatever. My opinions are my own, and should not be interpreted as expressions of official Salvation Army policy.
